We are pleased to announce that the next meeting in the series Bacterial Electron Transfer Processes and their Regulation will be held at Porto Novo Beach,Vimeiro, Portugal from 15-18th March 2015. Once again this meeting, organised as part of the programme of the European Federation of Biotechnology Microbial Physiology Section, will cover all aspects of bacterial electron transfer including physiology, biochemistry, and genetic regulation of bacterial electron transfer chains.
The meeting will focus on bacterial electron transfer reactions, especially those enabling bacteria to grow under diverse environmental conditions and adapt to stresses such as oxygen starvation, reactive oxygen and reactive nitrogen species. The meeting will have 10 sessions that include a total of approximately 30 oral lectures to be selected from abstracts submitted for poster presentation.
Sponsorship from FEMS to enable scholarships (limited number) will be offered to young participants.
