Francesco Lescai graduated in Medical Biotechnology and has a PhD in Experimental Pathology and the European Doctorate in Biotechnology.
He is currently a Genome Analyst at the Division of Research Strategy, UCL Genomics, University College London, UK.
Francesco is developing analysis methods for next generation sequencing data, as well as genome-wide association studies, on different human pathologies.
He is leader of the Task Group on Education, Mobility and Professional Qualifications and member of the expert committee on skills in the bio-economy at the European Commission.
