EULAFF Actions Planned

EULAFF has planned to develop a series of interconnected lectures, debates, roundtables and symposia concerning all the relevant levels or key success factors for the development of a bi-regional functional food chain.  These activities are categorized in four successive work packages, each focused on particular aspects of functional food development issues:

    Work Package 1:  “Science and Technology: Latin American agro-biodiverse crops as source for functional food development”

    WP 4: Virtual Community Network, information flow and on-line resources
    This work package relates to general information and communication activities.  A webpage will be designed and open to continuous dissemination of knowledge resulting not only from the featured activities but also the individual knowledge assets from the participants and related associates.  As, well, through the webpage and electronic mail the project will foster active communication to expert groups and decision makers rendering scientific and technical information about the biological diversity of agricultural crops accessible in Latin America.
