Events organised by our EFB Institutional Members & Partners

Bioprocessing Technologies in Stem Cell Research − Eppendorf

The commercial use of stem cell-based technologies requires reliable methods for large−scale cultivation in consistent quality. The 1st Stem Cell Community Day on April 4, 2017 will bring together experts from industry and academia, to discuss recent achievements, challenges, and chances in stem cell bioprocessing for research and commercial manufacturing. In three sessions we will discuss the state of the art in stem cell research and bioprocessing, commercial manufacturing of stem cell−based products, and the application of upstream and downstream processing techniques to stem cells. The event is chaired by Dr. Robert Zweigerdt (Hannover Medical School) and includes key note lectures from Steve Oh, PhD (Bioprocessing Technology Institute, Singapore) and Todd McDevitt, PhD (Gladstone Institute, US).
